Rey Corporation was founded 60 years ago with the commitment to promote what Peru makes,transforming primary goods into manufactured goods for export.
The key has always been to modernize and use advanced technology in our plant.
Toward this goal, over an eigth year period (2000-2008) we have invested over $4 million (US $) in the purchase of machinery with the latest technology and improved processing capabilities. This has allowed us to increase our zipper production, year by year to 1 million 200 two hundred thousand zippers a day.
This growth has notably increased the factory´s productivity, having become one of the most competitive factories for the production of trims and closures for the apparel industry in Latin America.
Please keep in mind that 60% of our production is for our local apparel industry and the rest is exported to the United States, Germany, Spain, Ecuador, Chile ,Bolivia, Argentina, Uruguay, Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, the Dominican Republic,and Brazil.
